Make Your Own Playdough – Dough It Your Way

Create, mix, and mold playdough exactly the way you like it with Dough Your Own Way Playdough Powder —a beautifully simple, open-ended activity that supports creativity, calm, and sensory regulation for all ages.

Each 300g bag makes approximately 450g of soft, playable dough, offering great value and plenty of opportunities for hands-on fun. Suitable for ages 3+, this activity is engaging for children, teens, and adults alike.

More than just playdough, this mindful making experience invites users to slow down, engage their senses, and take control of the process. From measuring and mixing to kneading and shaping, every step supports emotional regulation, focus, and hands-on learning.

Why making your own playdough is so beneficial:

Supports emotional regulation: The rhythmic actions of mixing and kneading can be calming and grounding

Rich sensory experience: Engages touch, smell, and movement to support sensory processing

Builds focus & mindfulness: Encourages patience and present-moment awareness

Strengthens motor skills: Mixing, pouring, and kneading develop hand strength and coordination

Encourages creativity & autonomy: Open-ended play that invites experimentation and imagination

Inclusive & versatile: Ideal for home, classrooms, and therapeutic settings

How to make it:

Add 1 tablespoon of oil (we recommend coconut or olive oil) to the powder

Slowly add ¼ cup of water, mixing as you go

Adjust until you reach the right consistency — you may not need all of the water

Perfect for calm play, creative exploration, and sensory support, Make Your Own Playdough Powder turns a simple activity into a powerful sensory experience

Mix it. Feel it. Shape it. Dough your own way.
